I suspect that is right imbroglione.
Remembering we came out of the halt several days earlier than expected, it may well be that ASX advice/clearance or agreement came earlier than expected.
It also could be the case that to maximise pressure on any other bidders, the company locked this one in.
Have to say despite the potential light valuation that a deal at double the market cap would be very hard not to agree to. The board was smart and has given us every chance to get an even better outcome from another player coming over the top.
