As far as LME inventory, this dark inventory has been discussed for months on this very thread and is good news. EV manufacturers stocking up on nickel while it is cheap is creating a floor for nickel price at around $AU18,000/t. The game is set to last a little longer and then the "headwinds" will finally give way when the Chinese NPI industry is again curtailed by pollution concerns. Punters must understand that less than half of all nickel ore is actually converted to pure nickel and by far most "contained Nickel inventory" is sitting in various ore piles around the world. The only data that is relevant is the fact that world is currently running at about a 150,000t/y deficit.
