MacLeod, I certainly do want NKWE to succeed as it represents more than 20% of my portfolio. However, good investment requires to make decisions with our eyes open. I would have been very worried about Alex's professionalism if he had kept a "Buy" or a "Hold" on NKWE.
NKP is largely responsible for the whole drama by not keeping shareholders sufficiently informed. I follow 20 ASX shares very closely and let me tell you. NKWE is one of the worst companies if not the worst in term of information sharing. Just do your own statistics on the number of ASX announcements, the number of press releases, the number of pics released etc...
You state that NKP may not have been given a chance to respond to the so called Anglo legal case. Well NKP would have done that by sending a press release to D&D. D&D may not have printed the quote but that was to be expected as I think they never do. However, what stopped NKP to send the release to other magazines? Correct me but I have not yet seen a very clear answer from NKP in any article released in the press.
Yes, it is possible that AC has become suspicious of PL and Maredi. Well, there is an easy remedy to this: Please NKWE become more transparent!!! Please, keep everybody informed!! please be clear!!! In any case, dismissing a court case, however trivial, is not smart!
Yes AC may have been a bit emotional. Aren't we all at one time or the other? I suspect that AC has, at some point of time regretted to have championed NKWE for so long against many warning signs. So he changed his views abruptly and moved on quickly. That's what professionals do when they realise they were wrong.
Again, all this mess would have been minimised if NKP generally was informing their shareholders more frequently and more clearly.
My position now is that Peter Landau, NKWE and Genorah have worked hard to put the projects back on track. I am happy they did and I will congratulate them as soon as we have a clear announcement to the ASX. But once all this mess is sorted out, I hope you, Newminer and everybody else in this forum will work hard to get Peter Landau to raise his ball around information and clarity about NKP's progress. "2010, the year of total silence" must never happen again!
