I appreciate your argument it has merit but don't forget emotions are in play today. I can see the lower trendline could be hit in coming days which will be just under $3.81, I'm just making a prediction don't take it too seriously please.

Telstra is a utility property trusts are super risky from my basic understanding. In actual fact the dividend is 8% fully franked not till 6 months will it be %5.77 providing they do not return capital which could make the dividend a few % higher, not that i'm relying on the capital return just saying.
