Well today is D-day for all the efforts, arguments and counter arguments for what we all have been trying to achieve over the last few months. We will soon find out if all of our times and efforts have achieved the main gold we have all been hoping for, or just a total waste of time.
There is no doubts that the were some posters in these threads which clearly had a personal driven agenda in their wheelbarrow and going their hardest against what is the Democratic right of the huge majority of posters in Hot Copper wanted to do in trying to remove what some of us thought was just some dead wood, while not showing too much interest, nor did they really care, about the fate that many long term investors were going to face with what they have been dealt with.
From all that, it appears to me that the dead wood, (The BOD and Management), was more concerned about the future of CTP in MB's hands and possibly what there could be in it for them, (should they have gained positions with MB should the SoA been approved) , then the future of all those poor long term Mums and Dads investors having to face some huge losses and, for some of them even been pushed into the poor house. And there were these people with their personal agenda trying to convince us that it was actually going to be the best thing since sliced bread was invested. Sad but true.
And then we also had someone posting around here which, from my own understanding and beliefs, showed "That they had a certain method in their madness". Some of which IMHO, all they were looking forward to, was to get a cosy seat in the Boardroom while collecting hefty salaries, free options, incentive options and whatever else coming their ways which, none of us would have had any saying at all in it, as they are all set and agreed upon at board level and not by us, while promising huge amounts of money coming our way without any real proof or evidence that it was true.
Several questions and request to answer certain question were made by many following these threads, but they all died of a peaceful death...........NO ANSWERS at all, BUT JUST THE USUAL TRUST ME/US..... If anything someone even came out making it all clear to all of us, while even making threats that, if our democratic elected Board was to take control of the company after this meeting to be held today, HE/THEM would challenge it in the Courts, based on the pretence, if I got that one right, that one of the proponents in our camp wasn't good enough to enter that Boardroom. Dear oh me did they have a good look at what they were putting in front of us.????
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black....
For those people doing so, I would go as far as saying the same old thing........................ shame on you.
Anyway, I could go on and on but it is better cutting it short because I am sure that there will be many here awaiting anxiously at what today will bring to us..............A new reinvigorated Board controlled by someone who hold some real skin in the game (PAID WITH THEIR OWN HARD EARNED), or the same old same old which after 5 and more years at the wheel proved to us that they weren't worth all the money they've collected.
And by the way, I do still remember someone telling us that they weren't doing it for the money either.......Well, You could have fooled me....
