ewere, I agree with you, but since I joined this board Ive always been gobsmacked by how people keep going on and on about how amazing the technology is like it makes any difference to the company. Because it doesnt.
We can all probably think of a hundred companys with poor tech that have made it big and a million companys with awesome tech that have sunk over the years.
That happens because its not about the technology. Its about the business, timing, the strategy, the selling, the politics, the support (and a whole bunch of other non-technology related stuff).
If anyone bought into the company simply because its technology is amazing, Id suggest theres another smarter way of making decisions on what to buy into... and it seems from the threads and conversations over the past year that thats about the only reason why many bought into it.
