i recently read a buffet quote
"you should be cautious when the market is bullish, and bullish when the market is cautious"
still need caution and definately alot of homework needs to be done but there are some steals starting to pop up around the place if you can justify a long term hold.
All in all these gold plays falling down present a nice scenario for a few up and coming gold producers.
at present TAM can't capitalise but i'm sure you've got a fair idea of those that can ;)
