This just means pdy have some cover.

What it doesn't tell you is how much (or the sum insured) they may have. Most small co's with limited or no assets would typically have only a $1 or $2mil sum insured. And remember, that's a sum insured per event and also would probably be 'inclusive' of all related legal costs.

The policy terms and conditions would also be interesting viewing.

Without passing judgement, I'd suggest the policy may have been pulled out of the bottom draw in the last few days......
