Just a quick update....could not stand not knowing how dad was so I found the number of the hospital (in the country).
Funny as I got to the nurse (finally) and she knew all about him ( he is a character) and said that he refused all pain relief, but they soon convinced him and he is comfortable.
She did say that they still don't know what is wrong with him but he will have tests tomorrow.
I have been crying off an on but now feel better that they have helped him with the pain ( I just don't want him in pain)....she said she would let him know I had called too.
