The action in this sector in the last week has been totally unwarranted. Unfortunately, we got smashed by o/s funds moving back to the USD at the same time as an erroneous article was posted in the AFR.
Post Shanghai open day, I strongly suspect that we will see an updated research note from a number of existing analysts that cover BAL and possibly some new ones as well. I cant emphasise enough that in my opinion, the market appears to have completely misread the situation and has been totally and unjustifiably spooked by the points I raised in my first paragraph.
