Daigou - new tax?, page-7

I read it as the Chinese Government doing U-Turns and Roundabouts on their Policies.

Perhaps all will be clear on 1st June. (Perhaps this is what's been told to customs officials in multiple cities and ports)

One thing is certain - I reckon the tax will stay - hence the system upgrades and delays in processing individual parcels (via Daigous). No Government is willing to give up tax that easily.

I have no idea how they will tax individual parcels given different items attract different tax rates. (eg: Wine attracts 60% tax). I guess that is the challenge.... opening up the parcel and figuring out how much to pay.
