For every Asian in Oz making a living from the daigou trade there must be 4-5 doing it informally. 14 yrs ago I used to work for a Korean company bringing Korean schoolkids to homestay and attend high school here in QLD. They stayed for 2+ yrs and went home twice each yr. Invariably they would pack their cases with honey to give to friends and family. Today my previous boss owns a new business in Brisbane and i caught up with him on Friday. He employs Koreans on working holiday visas and he said they all take honey home when departing. I suppose Korea has plenty vitamins already.
