On your own lease's if those narrow but good grade hits are near surface would have a go at digging them myself. But dam, getting on now and have a bad back! and those days are now behind I guess.Bugger!

Good luck with either funding, or in selling your own lease's. Did a little part time dryblowing way back in the hot dusty Pilbara. Hard Yakka for 10 grams or so a day, but not so bad in todays prices hey? Got around $400/ oz back then I think.
Guess all you need on ABU's Old Pirate's high grade surface reefing is a crowbar, 14 pounder, chisel, and a few buckets & drums just to pick up the glinty stuff. Saw a couple of old pensioners fill a couple of drums from only a few metres of small but rich surface leaders once close to an old dryblowing patch, all glinting in the sun. Nice to see! All happened close to camp while I went on a big walkabout. But still got a few bits too. Think they pegged it as the last time I visited a lot of work been done there. Still managed to pick up a number of small 1-2 gram bits on the same ground, so even they missed some, just like the old timers did.
Will be interesting to say the least when ABU start digging up Old Pirate in ernest. Must also be news on this soon now I guess. Be nice to see it come after this pullback is done, just to excite a little more.
