I would agree with this pints. our forefathers did astonishing efforts to survive this hard land. yet the "prosperity for all to benefit" is incorrect. Aus, like the US, was driven by a determination to survive and the devil take the hindmost. enslavement was a poor part of our history too. abuse/neglect of those less capable only alleviated in the last decade (since Gillard).
our nation is built;t on capitalism (nothing wrong with this) which enables the strong to master and the weak to be bound to the strong. its ever been so.
