Unfortunately there will always be someone that will be prepared to take a profit on a good announcement. And it's usually the Pros that do most of the damage. If they sell on good news, it's very easy for them to distribute their stock to euphoric buyers without having to put price against their selling.

Once the news comes out, watch for weakness...
