I have personally come to the conclusion that the modern day broker is nothing more than a white collar criminal.
They are handed the tools by the ASX and tax dept to cheat the retail out of their hard earned, tools which the average mum and dad do not have access to ie;
algorithmic trading Using other peoples money shorting extremely low fees
(Most likely inside information)
All under the guise of being professional investors, meanwhile we wait with baited breath for the drills to uncover what may or may not be in the ground.
A friend of mine told me the other day that a broker mate of his says the whole ASX Stockmarket situation has never been so currupt as it is right now !
Maybe it's true or maybe it's not, but it sure looks pretty sus to me.
Just my opinion for what its worth.
