I've thought about it. Is on private property. Back then I had clearance.
We were told mines on property, walked about 5 hours, very hilly, found two deep shafts, went down, sampled.
Zero gold. Took soils zero gold. Found a stream, same, zero gold.
Not sure what they were mining as farmer just said to check out the old shafts.
From memory I did not see a reef down the shafts either.
As we were walking we were tripping over these big outcrops, that were parallel to each other and just chunks of rock scattered.
We took a good 100 samples, if gold should have shown up.
It is in the golden triangle, about 45 minutes from bendigo.
