I agree that a consolidation is likely to happen but there was a very last turn over yesterday so it won't drop too much.
Given the fed has suggested that inflation isn't in control just yet and further rate increases might come, sending the US markets red might mean we see that consolidation happen today.
Regardless though, it's all part of the cycle and means nothing in the long term.
