It would be nice if the gov implemented anything with a sense of urgency. Unless it directly affects their next vote it won't happen fast.
I'm not talking about red tape in the sense that it's intentionally being stalled, I just mean anything that requires large scale government input takes bloody ages. To be honest the mining industry as a whole is the same way. has to be signed off on multiple levels and each time it will get reassessed and everyone works on different schedules. If the strategy scope 2023 - 2030 we will probably see changes implemented by 2027 haha.
