I think the consensus is that they will be complimentary rather than competitive due to different practical applications. at the end of the day the lithium market may not bloom to insane highs due to shortages and no alternatives but its still going to be a profitable resource even if NA-ion batteries came up to real world usage production in the next 5 years, especially in our current position.
