Far from it. A slow down in the growth percentage YOY is a misleading form of statistical reporting.
It is a fact that the sales of EV,s is growing. It is the growth rate that has slowed, which is very much expected.
The only true method of understanding the growth is to compare annual sales of EV,s compared to ICE,s and even this year so far the sales worldwide of ICE vehicles is down, but the sales of EV,s is up, again. Each year EV,s increase their percentage of sales of ALL vehicles sold.
How does that equate to a ‘dead duck?’
In another 20, 30, maybe 40 years from now ICE vehicles will have faded into a category of vehicle sought only for a particular function.
