That’s exactly how it works. Anybody that listens to the news and believes that unemployment data in the US or the reduced consumption of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (sorry my sarcasm) on Tuesdays, affects the share price of all shares is delusional. They say anything for a news story and really have no idea.
The markets rise and fall every single week for the same basic reasons. Trading, daily buying and selling, weekly buying and selling, buy low sell high, buy low, sell high, that’s why it goes up and down. Obviously with a number of various factors that CAN influence things but basically buying and selling, manipulating and wealth transfer by sucking people in.
That is why I just hold my stocks long term if I like them. Ignoring the rollercoaster so many like to get on.
Nothing wrong with people wanting to buy and sell as they want, as that is what the market is I guess.
RDN for me is a long hold till we see a great resource! They will be very happy days IMO if we get those results!
