Still playing the macro, but positively.

From a weekly perspective, was ahead, last week 2.9, this week at 3.1. So a positive week, even though there was no announcement which many seem to be waiting for. One critical number, 3.4, it was again pushed down from there, something to watch for those who like to play numbers and trade.

So what is happening? I feel its playing the macro at this stage. Li macro has become volatile, big rises one day, then big drops. Although most Li stocks gained on this, as the rise was more than the drop. RDN too got the benefit of it. But after all the euphoria, it looks that we are back to drawing board by this Friday.

ALB is still down on a weekly basis, though it has to play tonight. Ganfeng made a new low this week at 24.90. Then on the big rally it reached 28. But today it finished at 25.58, just over 2% from its new low. It lost 1. 5%on a weekly basis. So not looking good at this stage. The rally seems more like a sucker rally in hindsight. Let's hope it's not.

Personally still not a play for me here. As I said, it needs to be above 3, and looks like holding. Currently it's wavering in its hold.

So what may happen next week? I know many are waiting for announcement. Many believe that it may carve RDN it's own path. It's possible, so will leave it there. But if the announcement doesn't come, it may play to Li macro. ALB needs to get to 106, Ganfeng 35. Till then the volatility may continue. Still no confirmation of Li sector bottoming and reversal. But as the big rally showed this week, it may only need a small change in sentiment. Let's hope it happens soon. Enjoy your weekend and all the best.
