100% agree. The current process comes across like hey a miner / explorer wants to do something and then they go hey we can make some funds here, what can we say is there so we get some dollars.
The WA Govt I believe is addressing that now.
That is the concept of the latest update. See links in post this morning. They are trying to update their (WA GOVT) database so that all parties understand what is of relevance in regards to heritage listings and whats there etc. which should help all.
