If I sell 5 million options at their current sale average now, which I probably couldn’t anyway given there aren’t enough buyers for that many options, but let’s say I was able to: 5 million @ 1.6 cents = $80,000.
I decide then to quickly buy as many heads as possible, so: $80,000 worth of heads @ say 3.3 cents = 2.424 million heads.
RDN hits the jackpot while drilling and we are all looking good. Either normal rise heads up to say 15 cents or 30 cents for a TO. That could be a realised fortune for me of just over $363,000 if 15 cents, or just over $727,000. Not bad you say, given I can add that onto the heads I already own.
However, if I convert all 5 million options, and then realise the same 15 cents or 30 cents for a TO, this would give me $750,000 if 15 cents, or $1,500,000 less the $80,000 cost of conversion.
Hmm, let me think, I’ll convert.
