I see an expansion of all car manufacturing with a focus on PHEV & EV, as Elon said in latest podcast with Rogan "I mean, the thing is that the right architecture, environmental or not, for cars is actually electric. It’s just like the acceleration is better. You can just charge it at home. I mean, like imagine if you had a gasoline powered cell phone. It’d be a pain in the ass." Hes right and people are realizing that more and more. Most manufacturers will pivot into PHEVs because of consumers range anxiety with outright electric and nations not having the infrastructure roadside to support them. The average PHEV still requires about 12.5kg of Lithium per car for the batteries. This will only become larger as the PHEV electric only range increases. The future of Lithium is bright regardless of who is in power.
