Well the reason for optimism would be the most recent PTX-100 results, was looking more and more likely that this will head to a registrational study...More data should be out at any time now with the expanded cohort.
There hasn't been any bad news to date, unless you consider the shelving of MD Anderson collaboration bad news? Technically speaking all 3 Car-T programs were progressing independently of the MD Anderson collaboration and it was always a 'Icing on the cake' side dish investigation.
It's possible there's a leaky ship and someone knows something bad? But then again, the entire biotech market is in the dumps so it may have nothing to do with the portfolio.
Reality is, when companies like PTX are trading on little volume...It's very easy to be pushed up or down...One shareholder exiting on a few million units can tank the price by cents.
I'm compelled to let the data do the talking...I'll hold and see what Steven and the next few quarters have to say rather the sp pressure with no news to suggest I should be panicking.
