I was thinking exactly the same thing. It's so strange. Why on earth would people be complaining about Bec going to an industry conference? It's the perfect opportunity to showcase the company to industry peers - the ones that you want to buy you out. And not to mention the behind the scenes meetings and networking. These are the forums where deals are done.
