    The possibility of the viral vectors used to deliver CAR-T cells inserting themselves into the human genome is a major concern for inducing secondary cancer. Therefore, secondary cancer is a class warning on the labels of FDA-approved CAR-Ts.

    This could be another reason TF and PTX pursue electroporation and non-viral vectors. In doing so, it is clear that OmniCAR has to be optimised for this route. This is something that Penn and Oxford would not have been aware of at the time of initially developing SpyCatcher and SpyTag, IMO. As far as we know, OmniCAR is still undergoing (pre-clinical) development.
