You've raised some interesting points, threebeez. Whilst undoubtedly Bec wears many hats as our Senior SAB VP, I've always got the impression that her field of specialisation is cell & gene therapy. PTX-100 is a small molecule biologic and by definition is a different field to CGT from what I can gather. This article (albeit at least a year old) that I came across tonight, certainly backs up the idea that Bec's involvement with PTX-100 is likely somewhat limited:-

"Why is this relevant in context of Bec's move to the US?" I hear myself and others ponder rolleyes.png.... Well, my train of thought is that Bec's "expansive global network of esteemed collaborators and a remarkable track record in securing research funding" (to quote her own words) is best located where CellPryme could be in the process of being adopted as a platform technology - the Cell Therapy Manufacturing Centre (CTMC) in Houston. It could also lead to PTX-100 Ph 2 trials being undertaken there as our first US site following Aust, as you say.

CellPryme regulatory packages are currently being completed with submissions flagged for early next qtr. Will the market be informed at this juncture? An emphatic "no" from you, I guess. If you are proven right, that will be outright cruel on SYC's part!!! I suspect that he will be looking to break the silence with something big to regain the market's faith. CellPryme won't likely command large upfront payments like other platforms but it could make up for that by way of volume (through CDMOs such as CTMC and TF) which would be big news.

Time for sleep! Btw, we had a Director of R&D appointed in Jan this year... so lot going on that we are just not hearing about and all the while the SP is being played like a fiddle. frown.png
