The answer to that would be different for every person and I can't give financial advice to anyone. I think Afterpay reaches at least $100b cap and Zip $20b. I don't know how tortoise and hare that race will be, so I think trying to swap between them or time them is silly. either one could announce huge deals.
Afterpay could add eBay USA and be $300 before you blink. Zip could add Amazon in UK or even USA and it would go up like a space x rocket..
Credit card market is so huge and such lazy products and companies, that both companies have huge blue ocean to sail now.
The only real danger is that USA has some very advanced app based fintechs... SoFI, Square etc... though they aren't going to be pure bnpl and so may not compete head to head with zip and Afterpay. Something to watch though.
