I think Sezzle is great and I don't bash it when it does well, but I'm also not an idiot like you who can't remember what happened only a few months back and gets my views on the BNPLers distorted by one days worth of trading.

The Target deal was potentially in play for months now. It was unsure that an actual deal would eventuate from the proof of concept agreement. So it makes little sense for you to say the rise in the share price today was about the management team chasing enterprise customers.

They already had the attention of the merchant. They just had to close the deal. Which they did, and good job to them. However, it wasn't any new information that they were "chasing" Target, as you put it.

The rise in share price is due to the projected solid and sustained increase in TTV and revenue that will follow from having a $100B revenue merchant on board.

If you can't see the link between that, and say a hypothetical of if Zip securing a deal with Amazon US, then I don't know what to say to you other than can you and your HC mod friends pick up your game.

You know you and your other account BOT really could turn the forum into a more inviting place for others if you changed your approach. Why does HC keep you in their employ? It's like yeah you get the regular users to respond, but so what? They're going to be here anyway. It's the newbies you need to keep around, and the people who are on the verge of leaving HC because of tards like you.

If there are any higher up HotCopper employees reading this, then seriously consider dropping BOT/AgooLisa from your list. It'd work much better to offer what Reddit doesn't, which is more thoughtful discussion. You can't be Reddit, so try and pave your own way. There's an obvious gap in the online financial discussion market, and BOT/AgooLisa is not the way to go.
