you realise interest rate increases are good for economy
it's unemployment you need to watch out for
if people can't afford their mortgages - do you understand the impact here?
if it were doom and gloom why do you think banks want fo put the rates up?
cleanse the over leveraged bad debts, strengthen balance sheets etc
more liquidity into the equity markets as we've already been seeing - thanks to over inflated property prices making it unaffordable to enter
and therein lies the problem with over inflated over valued equity markets
double edged sword - but for the foreseeable future, it's money making time
