Zip Management under Investigation for Market Manipulation; US Listing was never been on the table
Along the lines of.? A formal investigation has been raised after several investors have complained to ASIC regarding market manipulation from the founders of Zip, that led investors to believe they were going through the process to list their shares on the US stock exchange. On 19th and 21st April the AFR published several articles after receiving infomraito from Zip sources pertaining to a second listing in the US. AFR published these articles after this information was given to them by ZipCo.
A correspondent at ZipCo vehemently denies any wrong doing. When question how did the AFR get this information, and who at Zip gave it to them to publish, the Zip representative said he said no comment
Immediately after the fake news was published in the AFR article shares rocketed peaking at 13.92. a week or so later it became clear that Zip was in the process to get additional credit by listing not on the US exchange but on the Singapire exchange through the use of warrant options.
