New Entrants, Apple/ Goldman Sachs; PayPal , City, CBA all highlights how lucrative BNPL sector is. US market is in trillions and BNPL accounts just 1% of market share right now. Enough slices of pie to share. However, growing competition and too many players, results consolidation. Unconfirmed; news about Klarna being Strategic investor in my opinion further indicates consolidation is happening and we'll see mergers and acquisitions in this sector moving forward. Z1P is a perfect Candidate for that. PayPal news hammered the share price only to recover later on so apple news effects would be similar- may be even less impactful than PayPal due to impending announcements. This would be very interesting week.
