How was Zip's CN better for its shareholders than Afterpay's? Zip's has a far lower conversion premium and also pays an effective interest rate of 2.5% pa (whereas APT's is zero coupon). Zip's is better for the Noteholders but not Zip's shareholders.
Afterpay used $600m of the $1.5b to purchase 13% out of the 20% of Afterpay US that it didn't already own.
