We've been discussing that very topic in the Afterpay forums. We've all mostly come to the conclusion that it is wrong info. It was printed in the AFR like you explain it and Youtube Phil has made a video about it but I just can't see the ATO letting billions of dollars in untaxed gains go.
Still, I'm surprised about the AFR printing it. I'm not going to sell a lot of Afterpay, just a bit to put into Zip & Sezzel if I run out of funds. I'm still ok for now and can keep adding witthout selling any Afterpay.
