I have a rule with myself. If I have any emotional feelings at the time of a trade (like nervous when red, fomo when green), I'll back away from my phone and wait til tomorrow.
Ill only ever go with my gut (after DD of course). 9/10 emotion will stuff you.
Has saved me many a time from selling at a loss to get a lower entry, only for the price to go up shortly after I would have sold.
Yes, Ive lost out on a few bucks here and there too, but I'm also content on my trades.
Beware the emotion - we all have it at some point.
