Hey @James54738, thanks for the vote of confidence, but unfortunately in this instance it is misplaced. I'm not actually a qualified accountant (although I've spent pretty much my entire working life reviewing financial statements), so accounting for goodwill on acquisition is beyond my capability. I know it is a highly technical field and one that doesn't really subscribe to the application of a "common sense" approach. Personally I'm not particularly interested in the accounting nuances on this as all of the P&L entries are non cash, non-recurring items. I know that @Goodfella58 thinks the acquisition of Quadpay was a disaster, but I see it as the exact opposite and it was the key reason I invested in Zip in the first place. One of us will be wrong and only time will tell (for some context, when he was spamming the APT threads his valuation on APT was $2-$6).
