The number you need to focus on is credit costs as a % of revenue. Different models turn over their receivables more or less times per year or have a higher or lower revenue yield than others which makes credit costs as a % of receivables or as a % of TTV relatively meaningless. For a BNPL company, credit costs as a % of revenue needs to be below 25% and ideally below 20%. In its latest quarterly report, Sezzle's was close to 50% which is disastrous.
