Yeah it's becoming increasingly unclear what exactly the plan is here with the shorts - yesterday the price started to move and then just flattened, then tiny volume today - shorts not closing, but also not opening major new positions, and no one really buying up either, just stuck in the middle. It feels like with re-brand and FY now done, it needs a sentiment reset to get this going again. Unfortunately the only two times the stock managed to really shake the shorts was the Quadpay announcement in 2020 and US listing rumours in early 2021. It doesn't feel like good quarterlies are going to be enough - all I can think that would do it is:
- Large insto taking position - and then announcing sub holder notice
- Strategic investment from competitor - e.g. the Klarna rumours
- Major partnership with an entity like Amazon US (although I think this unlikely)
- US listing
- Takeover offer

I get that pretty much every stock has short sellers at various points, but they've got to work out a way to get rid of the concerted, protracted short attack that has basically broken this stock.
