why would I get a credit card from a banking institution which I have massive distrust for (refer royal commission), go through a lengthy application process, wait a couple of days for approval, then another 2 weeks for the card to be issued to me, all whilst worrying about porch pirates stealing the card from the postbox
Then depending on the type of card you get, you'll cop a $500 annual fee just to get rewards on spend.
Oh and then there's the chance the CC will have automatically signed you up for accident/death insurance without notifying you because you're automatically opted in
Compare that to just signing up for Zip in a couple of minutes on my phone - safe, convenient, secure
