doubt there are naked shorts on the ASX... its a little more regulated than the US.
But there are dark pools and non-lit exchanges where the insto's trade
You really can't blame the shorts.. they're just taking advantage of how managements running things at the moment.
Look at the buyers V sellers - sentiment is in the gutter with Zip.
Start lowering your expectations bud, look out beyond the horizon, we'll be fine in a few months.
Just have to stomach this BS for the timebeing....
