The hope for Zip is the Amazon/Affirm deal is non exclusive.
Also it's only a test with selected customers after which I would expect Amazon to open the doors to other BNPL providers.
I highly doubt if any of them will make any money from the partnership though as Amazon will play them off against each other.
Whst BNPL providers are finding is that after initial take up by unreliable and poor quality customers they are having to work harder to attract different cohorts.
From memory Zip expenses increased by some $280 million to attract another $160 million of income.
