I think we should look to what Amazon is doing in regards to retail making their own bnpl feature. I don't think retailers want to take on the credit risk and alienate customers from future sales if they report them to a credit agencies. Some bnpl later companies don't report to credit agencies but they take on the risk of bad debts and never receiving that money. I don't think retailers or their shareholders want to take on that extra risk, it's easier to just partner with someone. The retailers wouldn't want to refer a customer to a debt collector either because they would probably lose that customer forever and never receive a single dollar from them again. Partnerships is the way to go, Amazon showing the rest how it's done. We're gonna see a lot more now that BNPL is daily chatter in the media. Now I'm a HODLer until something big happens
