Today's aggregate short data has been released for the 24th (the 3rd day of the India rally from the $6.06 lows)
So that 3rd day of rally was almost entirely from new buyers buying in..... only 500K of the total shorts closed that day. The first 2 days had shorters closing out with large volume and supporting new buyers but not so much on the third day. Tomorrow we'll see the last day (27th) of the India rally to the $7.20s.

One bad thing though, yesterday we had 1.65M shorts opened (but not sure how many closed because of the 4 day delay)
