Crypto will be the largest rug pull in history, investing in general even. It's happened a so many times and will again, again and again. Pump interest into the general public, let them buy in, rugpull, don't forget to buy the dip so we can keep offloading, stonks only go up. yolo, fomo blahhh.
Every second ad on YouTube is some trading platform or other where you can make bank with little to no effort. Look up retail investor interest in trends and what not, it's very telling.
Retail will get burnt as f*, some will swear off investing, others will get back on the horse and run again, but the cycles will repeat.
