That's some bias right there.
If the Target news was in fact old news, then there should be a share price retrace. What else is there to say about that? Why should Affirm get back in line with the rest of the market upswing just because of 2 year old news? Makes no sense.
Investors got lucky that basically the market forgot this partnership even existed. It's blind luck. Just call it what it is.
Also if what Sebby said is true, it wasn't even an "annoucement". They were contacted by the media regarding it, and not vica versa.
You suggesting Zip IR or any company's IR, for that matter, could predict or influence such a thing impacting their share price is ridiculous.
Next you'll be calling for Zip IR to re-release the Quadpay acquisition news haha.
