That's why I first thought she's dreaming and thought there's no way a customer will go for that. I would prefer the merchants take the cost too but then we'll have to battle out percentages with lower priced competitors. Merchants may crack it with the extra cost and not sure what they will do about it. If they raise their prices the non-bnpl customers will be paying higher and that could put them off from buying stuff at all. It's a tricky balance they'll have to work out but I'm hoping we'll be taken out by then and I wont have to worry about any bnpl stocks at all.

The best thing would be to raise the cost to the merchant but only the tiny extra bit that rates go up. I can't see the big deal in merchants charging 0.25-1% extra on goods to be honest. When you think about it, it's nothing. I'll go for the merchants wearing the cost too, 0.25-1% is peanuts
