    Westpac did actually say it was for more efficient use of capital, and they weren’t wrong.

    some others around here have said (although they couldn’t verify) that it was a fallout between management.

    i think any “fallout” would have been consequential to Westpac leaving, as most would “fall out” with your major share holder leaving to back a competitor.

    the rampers who tried to change the narrative, oddly enough didn’t question the fall out or see it as a concerns, just that it was a parting of ways
